Three Tracks To Stop Cocaine Abuse
Stop Cocaine Abuse involves re-patterning the thought/feeling cycle when you think of cocaine. At present, what happens when you think of cocaine you either get a good feeling, perhaps excitement, at the thought of taking cocaine. Often, it is the drug itself to which the person has unwittingly attached the 'good feeling' to, the excitement of cocaine being bigger than the excitement of thinking of the end result of taking the drug. Other triggers are when the urge appears, there's a certain naughty but nice association linked to it like some people find with fresh cream cakes.
The other common pattern is that, once the effects of the drug have worn off, people feel bad and impulsively try to recover the good feelings that it evokes.
